Al Ain City Tour

Would you like to visit the birth land of the first President and ‘father’ of the UAE? We invite you to Al-Ain- an oasis city that borders the country of Oman.

You will visit the museum/old home of his Highness Sheik Zayed, visit UAE’s own hot springs with their traditional Arabic natural pools, drive up to a viewing point at the top of Jeb-Al-Hafeet from which you will witness a spectacular view onto the neighboring Country of Oman and finally end up at the largest zoo in the Arabian Peninsula.

Tour Highlights

Timing is flexible. We recommend leaving at 9.00 – 10.0 AM from either Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

Drive to Al Ain City, on the way passing by many historical . The city is currently under UNESCO protection and its one of the most green cities in the Arabian World.  Sheikh Khalifa had invested 11 Million Dollars into creating artificially induced rain that makes the city extremely green.

Kings Palace Museum, a palace where Sheikh Zayed used to live until the 90s. You can see the female section, the male, pictures of the Nahyan family, genealogy tree, majlis, car of Sheikh Zayed, bedrooms.

Sheikh Zayed personally lived there until 66, and the museum and has been styled to that period.

Oasis which belongs to Nahyan Family. Till dates is produce dates, orange, pomegranate & lime. The most interesting part of this stop is falaj, an irrigation system which used to water the plants.

Excellent lunch with many local traditional foods as well as International Buffet items.  You will also taste some vegetables that are locally grown.

Heading to the First Viewing Point @ Jab Al Hafeet  (700m below the peak), and another Viewing Platform that is (80 M below the peak) quite is Subject to the vehicle being used.

You will get a view of as far as Oman & Saudi Arabia. You will see the plains, oasis & desert below the mountains of city Al Ain. This depends on the weather conditions on that day.

The Al Ain Zoon is the largest zoo in the Arabian peninsula, with many animals donated by the royal family, after a decree had been issued banning keep wild animals at home.
The Main part of collect is animals from the private animal collection of the Nahyan family which used to be housed on the Sir Bani Yas.
There is a small train that circles around the Island which does a guided audio tour describing the animals being passed by.
Most of the animals are Australia, African and animals known to be locally common and can survive the climatic conditions. Giraffes, rhino, hippo, tigers, lions, and white tigers from Thailand.
