A dinner cruise is a perfect to both enjoy the views only accessible from a vessel and the comfort of a restaurant.
Most people talk about the view when they visit restaurants, however few restaurants can match the view that we provide. You will sail through the world renowned Dubai Marina, considered by many to be the most luxurious marina in the world, past the Cayenne Tower, a building that spins, past the entire shoreline of JBR and then past the newly build Blue Water Island with its iconic Dubai Eye.
Onboard you will have an option of cruising only, or having a full course meal aswell as access to a licensed bar.
We are proud to have a resident entertainment entertainment team that will add some flavor to the evening.
The traditional wooden dhow that has been used for decades as a primary shipping vessel is a great contrast to the ultra-modern, and almost futuristic views of Dubai Marina, providing a balance between new and old.
For sharing options, we can only do pick ups from hotels in Dubai or Sharjah. For private car options we can do pick ups from anywhere.
Hotel pick up time will vary depending on your hotel, and will be specified once you have made your reservation.
You will be picked up from your hotel and returned to your hotel after the trip.

If you would like us to pick you up from your hotel and transfer we can arrange it. There are 2 options, a private option that costs per car and a sharing option that costs per person.
It is picking you up from your hotel and bringing you to the boat. If you are a UAE resident, its unlikely that you will require this.
It is an optional add on.
Example, lets say you are a group of 4, and you want to book the cruise + buffet option and you also want to book a private transfer.
You will pay
4 people x 44$/pp = 176$
+50$/car = 226$ total
If you are 4 people and you want to get the sharing transfer, you will pay
4 people x 44$/pp = 176$
+ 4 x 10$ = 40$
$216 in total
We have a resident female vocalist who performs all kinds of pop, jazz, soft rock and blues pieces. We also have a resident tanura dancer, who performs a dervish spinning dance called ‘tanura’.
We cannot be sure who will be performing on the night you come, but atleast one will be.
You will see the entire Dubai Marina, JBR, Blue Water Island and some of the Palm Island.
Dhow: a traditional shape and culture of boat building common to the region.
Dhow Cruise: a traditional Dhow hull refurbished into a floating restaurant + cruise concept.
Dubai Marina: an artificial canal in Dubai, famous for its luxury ambience, yachts and sky scrapers.
The concept of a dinner cruise in Dubai Marina started around the same time as when the Dubai Marina itself opened up, and it has grown popular because it works as a package.
The view provided by the Dubai Marina, JBR, Blue Water Island and the base of the Palm Island are majestic and are perfectly enjoyed from onboard Alexandra Floating Restaurant.
Alexandra is an award winning floating restaurant that has been operating in Dubai Marina since 2008, more or less from the beginning of its inception. Over the years, the team directly managing the vessel has evolved and true trial and error learned what works and what doesn’t – producing a dinner cruise concept that has been enjoyed by over a million guests since its inception.
